PM मोदी ने दी कोहली, चानू को खेल रत्न की बधाई

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने क्रिकेट स्टार विराट कोहली और विश्व चैंपियन महिला भारोत्तोलक मीराबाई चानू को देश के सर्वोच्च खेल सम्मान राजीव गांधी खेल रत्न तथा अन्य खेेल हस्तियों को विभिन्न पुरस्कारों सेे सम्मानित किये जाने पर बधाई दी है। मोदी ने ट्वीट किया, डियर वी कोहली, खेल रत्न सम्मान के लिए बधाई। एक बैट्समैन और कप्तान के रूप में आपने देश का काफी नाम रौशन किया है। भारतीय युवाओं में आपकी लोकप्रियता अछ्वुत है। आपके अच्छे भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाएं। एक अन्य ट्वीट में मोदी ने लिखा, एस मीराबाई चानू ने देश-विदेश में बहुत सी खेल प्रतियोगिताओं में विशेष प्रदर्शन किया है। भारोत्तोलक के रूप में उनका कौशल एवं समर्पण सभी खेल-प्रेमियों के लिए प्रेरणास्त्रोत है। उन्हें खेल रत्न सम्मान के लिए बधाई।उन्होंने कहा, मैं राष्ट्रीय खेल पुरस्कार पाने वाले सभी एथलीटों और प्रशिक्षकों को बधाई देता हूं। ये पुरस्कार आपकी कड़ी मेहनत, समर्पण और मैदान पर वर्षों के प्रदर्शन का परिणाम है। भारत को अपने खिलाड़यिों पर गर्व है।उल्लेखनीय है कि राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने मंगलवार को राष्ट्रपति भवन में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय खेल पुरस्कार समारोह में कोहली और चानू को राजीव गांधी खेल रत्न और 20 खिलाडिय़ों को अर्जुन पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया था।
